My College Career Mission Statement

I’m looking for a college with a strong sense of community that offers access to an abundance of educational opportunities within a contemporary and welcoming setting. A campus that is accepting of different ideas and personalities, and nourishes innovative thinking. I want to develop an education that combines my diverse interests in engineering, business and the arts, in hopes of becoming an entrepreneur – a career path not bound by corporate restrictions. To be part of a learning environment that promotes the development of individual ideas and creativity, and offers “start-to-finish” programs that apply real-world applications outside of college. As an athlete, I have enjoyed the track and cross country programs at my high school and would like to continue to compete at the collegiate level. It’s important for me to be in a positive and productive environment that pushes athletes to perform at their best – to be part of a team that is hardworking and friendly that offers programs and support both during and in the off season.
